| Abstract: | The data from publications about radiation catastrophes that occurred in the world were analyzed. We focused on the causes that led to catastrophes and the scale and peculiarities of clinical and genetic effects. Much attention was paid to early and distant consequences of the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant catastrophe. |
