| Abstract: | The presence of seven members of the homologous series of γ-lactones in wax of the Bulgarian oil-bearing rose (Rosa damascena Mill.) was established by means of mass spectrometry of a fraction isolated by chromatography. The lactone of γ-hydroxy hexacosanoic acid was the predominant member. |
