Abstract: | Incubation of 125I-bovine parathyroid hormone with purified canine renal plasma membranes resulted in the generation of a carboxyl-terminal fragment of the labelled hormone. This fragment appears similar to that found previously in the human and bovine circulation and in the canine circulation after infusion of intact bovine parathyroid hormone. |
