| Abstract: | An X-ray crystal structure determination was performed on 2 beta,4 beta-cyclo-5 alpha- and rostane-3 alpha,17 beta-diol diacetate. The parent diol, but not its 3 beta-epimer, had been shown to be an effective inhibitor of a 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. |
