中国鲽形目鱼类骨骼的研究Ⅰ.肩带骨及腰带骨

本文比较了中国12属14种鲽形目鱼类的肩带骨及腰带骨,并参考了Ochiai(1963)有关日本钩嘴鳎等5属5种的研究;得知这些骨骼,特别是原始肩带骨与腰带骨,有退化趋势。这似因这些鱼类在向以体一侧侧卧,类似蝶泳姿势强化,偶鳍的功能逐渐变弱或消失,故支持偶鳍运动的这些骨骼也渐退化或消失。

OSTEOLOGICAL STUDIES OF SOME CHINESE FLATFISHES I. BONES OF THE PECTORAL AND VENTRAL GIRDLES

Based upon the bones of the pectoral and ventral girdles of some Chinese flatfishes (Psettodes erumei, Citharoides macrolepidotus, Brachypleura novaezeelandiae, Paralich-thys olivaceus, Pseudorhombus cinnamomeus, Grammatobothus polyophthalmus, Veras-per variegatus, Pleuronichthys cornutus, Kareius bicoloratus, Samaris cristatus, Zebrias zebra, Cynoglossus semilaevis, C. abbreviatus, C. purpureomaculatus) and the work of Ochiai (1963) on the bones of Heteromycteris japonicus, Brackirus marginatus, Zebrias japonicus, Paraplagusia and Symphums strictus, a comparison has been made. The results are summarized in the Tab. I. The tendency of degeneration in these girdle bones, especially of the primary pectoral girdle and the ventral girdle bones, is evident. Since these fishes swim with a butterfly stroke pattern, itheir pectoral and ventral fins gradually lose their functional importance. Consequently, these girdle bones which support the fins for their movement degenerate or even disappear.
