| Abstract: | The mitochondrial DNA of 21 Drosophila simulans isofemale lines of different geographic origins was digested with seven restriction endonucleases. All the lines, with one exception for one line and one enzyme, showed the same restriction patterns. The results confirm previous investigations showing great uniformity of the mtDNA genome in D. simulans. |
