Abstract: | The author studied the development of the interaction of GABA and oxazepam on embryonic spontaneous motility in chick embryos during the second half of incubation. In 13-day-old embryos the two substances already potentiated each other's action, despite the fact that GABA, by itself, did not yet have an inhibitory effect. In older embryos this potentiation increased until spontaneous motor activity was almost completely depressed. |
