| Abstract: | The interrelation between the bioeffector functions of sphingolipids and their chemical structure is reviewed. The effects
of modifications of sphingoid functional groups on the bioregulatory properties of sphingolipids in cell proliferation, differentiation,
and apoptosis are discussed. |
