I for growth decreased sharply the alcohol oxidase activity in yeast cells. This effect was accompanied by accumulation of
riboflavin phosphate in the medium. Purified alcohol oxidase showed higherK
m for methanol, change in absorbance maxima in the riboflavin area and chemical modification of enzyme structure discovered
by means of partial proteolysis. |
