南极鳕鳞片表面结构的光镜和扫描电镜的观察

本文对南极鳕鳞片表面结构进行了光镜和扫描电镜形态学的初步研究。观察同一鱼体上圆鳞和栉鳞的各自形态,论述了两种鳞片年轮的特点及鳞峭、鳞沟、鳞棘等的特征。经过观察分析,认为年轮的断裂型即为生殖轮,生殖轮的出现将是性成熟的标志。

ON THE SURFACE STRUCTURE OF THE SCALES IN NOTOTHENIA CORIICEPS RICHARDSON

By means of light microscope and scanning electron microscope, the surface structure of the scale in Notothenia coriiceps Richardson has been studied. Both cycloid and ctenoid scales are found in the same fish body with most part of the body covered by cycloid scales.The characteristics of these two types of scales including their annual rings, scale ridges, scale foci and scale grooves have been described in detail. The scale focus is arranged in a ring form at the posterior part of the scale while scale ridges are located at the anterior and lateral regions of the scales. In the cycloid scales denticalar knobbles are arranged more clo-sely at the middle part of the scale ridge. In comparison, the denticalar knobbles are scattered along the whole length of the scale ridge in ctenoid scale. The annual ring is divided in the cut pattern, the density pattern and tear pattern. It is considered that che tear pattern of annual ring is the genital ring. The first appearance of the genital ring is considered as the symbol of sexual maturity of the fish,
