| Abstract: | PNA/DNA interstrand cross-links (ICLs) were observed when peptide nucleic acids (PNAs) containing modified thymine derivatives were hybridized with the complementary or one-base mismatched DNA upon photolysis or treatments of oxidative agent. PNA/DNA ICL formation provides a useful method for biological applications such as antisense technologies or PNA chips. |
