Abstract:A method for the separation and estimation of DNP derivatives of 13 amino acids by a gas chromatographic technique is described. The separation was carried out with 1.0% XE-61 or 1.5% SE-30 as the stationary phase, and with a hydrogen flame ionization detector and temperature programmer. A method for the determination of the free amino acids in serum by gas chromatography was also investigated.
