Abstract: | Potatoes, anues, ocas and ullucus fed the pre- Columbian Incas and still feed their modern descendants, but only the potato has traveled to other parts of the world. Who knows what rivalry the potato might have had if the other three had received the same attention in efforts toward improvement? |
