| Abstract: | Summary A rapid and versatile synthesis of 2-monosubstituted monosuccinates and their bimolecular anhydrides is described. The reaction
of these anhydrides withN-Fmoc-protected dipeptides under the modified Dakin-West reaction affords mainly the corresponding 5-succinyloxyoxazoles. |
