Abstract:In screening process of new agricultural, a streptomycetes, 2 16, was isolated from the soil sample collected in Huangsan. The secondary metbolites produced by the strain had strong inhibition to Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. By indentification, this strain was regarded as new variety of Streptomyces ahygroscopicus and was called Streptomyces ahygroscopicus var. huangsanensis.
