| Abstract: | DNA microarrays are a powerful tool to investigate differential gene expression for thousands of genes simultaneously. In this review, recent advances in DNA microarray technologies and their applications are examined. Various DNA microarray platforms are described along with their methods for fabrication and their use. In addition some algorithms and tools for the analysis of microarray expression data, including clustering methods, partitioning and machine learning methods are discussed. |
