Abstract: | Chick embryo fibroblasts transformed by Rous sarcoma virus are agglutinated by wheat germ agglutinin and by concanavalin A if the cells are pretreated with purified hyaluronidase. Cells infected by a temperature-sensitive mutant of this virus are agglutinable if grown at the permissive temperature but not if grown at the non-permissive temperature. |
