小麦根愈伤组织胚胎发育过程研究

Studies on embryogenesis and embryo growth process of the root callus in wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.)

Morphological and histological examination of the root calli differentiation process in 6 different artificially synthesized lines of wheat and common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cv.“Chinese Spring” showed that differentiation occurred in two ways,i.e.somatic embryogenesis and organogenesis (primordial shoot derived directly from the compact calli).Moreover,three types of growth of adventitious shoots and roots were also observed as follows:(1) differentiation of multiple shoots prior to root formation;(2) simultaneous differentiation of adventitious shoots and roots in calli,and (3) root formation followed by shoot initiation.
