Tn3-like elements: molecular structure, evolution |

| Abstract: | The structure and transposition mechanism of Tn3-elements are described. Different studies showed that Tn21, Tn501, Tn1721 and Tn3926 are closely related. An evolution model for these transposons is proposed. |
