Bimodal karyotype in Cynomorium coccineum L. and its systematic implications

Abstract:The presence of a bimodal karyotype in Cynomorium coccineum (2n = 28) is used to support its separation from Balanophoraceae and the maintenance of Cynomoriaceae as a separate family.
