| Abstract: | A proposed approach to stabilize complementary complexes is based on the stabilizing effect of oligonucleotide derivatives bearing polyaromatic residues on the adjacent short oligonucleotides if their recognition sites make a tandem on the target. This approach has been used to enhance efficiency and specificity of site-specific modification of nucleic acids. |
