| Abstract: | Structural information about the prokaryotic KirBac3.1 inward rectifier family K(+) channel from Magnetospirillum magnetotacticum is reported. These results from two-dimensional electron cryomicroscopy (EM) shed light on the gating mechanism of members of the Kir channel family. |
