Abstract: | In the field, sclerotia of Pleurotus tuber-regium were found in dead trees and fallen logs of Daniella oliveri. Sclerotia of P. tuber-regium were produced in the laboratory when the fungus was cultured in moist drill dusts of D oliveri and Elaeis guineensis. The resulting sclerotia were viable and had features similar to those found in the natural habitat. |
