| Abstract: | The present paper deals with the histopathological studies of galls of Ustilago hordei (Pers.) on Hordeum vulgare L. The gall formation in the present case is the result of both hyperplastic and hypertrophic activities of the infected host cells. Also the gall formation by U. hordei on. H. vulgare is being reported for the first time through present. communication. |
