Descriptions of the larva and pupa of the short palped crane fly Rhipidia uniseriata Schiner, 1864 (Diptera,Limoniidae)

Detailed description of the larva and pupa of Rhipidia uniseriata Schin. is given for the first time. The main diagnostic characters are as follows: body long, abdominal segments 2.5 times as long as wide, stigmal area with slightly elongate pigmented spots, hypostomium with 9 conical teeth, clypeus with two pairs of well-developed lateral setae and one pair of pores between them.
