| Abstract: | Multiple shoots were induced on excised hypocotyl segments andshoot tips of in vitro germinated seedlings of Indian rosewood(Dalbergia latifolia) on Murashige and Skoog's medium supplementedwith cytokinins and auxins. Roots were induced when individualshoots were treated first with half strength MS medium supplementedwith NAA, IAA and IBA (1 mg 1–1 each) and subsequentlytransferred to hormone-free half-strength MS medium.
