Abstract:	A type I chloramphenicol acetyltransferase from Escherichia coli has been crystallized as trigonal prisms, in a form suitable for diffraction studies. The space group is P3₁, or P3₂, cell dimensions $a = b = 116.3, c = 147 A ?$ .
