| Abstract: | A new peptidergic paraventriculo-infundibular system has been revealed using anti-corticoliberin (CRF) antibodies. The localization of its perikarya in the paraventricular nuclei as well as the distribution of its fibres and perivascular nerve-endings within the median eminence are different from those of other systems stained with antibodies directed against gonadoliberin, somatostatin, vasopressin or oxytocin. |
