Abstract: | This paper discusses the properties of the three most specific ligands found for the extracellular faces of M1, M2 and M4 muscarinic receptors (m1-toxin1, m2-toxin and m4-toxin, respectively). The primary goal of this paper is to show the known and potential usefulness of these toxins and their biotinylated, radioactive, fluorescent and mutated derivatives. |
