Abstract: | Antisera produced by carp were tested in the differentiation between two cyprinid fishes, bream and roach, and between the lipovitellins of two grey mullets, Mugil cephalus and Liza ramada. These antisera were more specific in the recognition of different fish species than those produced by rabbits. An antiserum against carp lipovitellin was produced with male carp as antibody donor. |
