| Abstract: | The enzymes studied were cholesterol esterase, cholesterol ester synthetase 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and 20 alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. PGF-2 alpha reduced the activities of 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and cholesterol esterase but did not affect those of cholesterol ester synthetase of 20 alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. |
