Studies on cytochrome c. X. Synthesis of Nα-benzyloxycarbonyl-[Thr107]-dotetracontapeptide (sequence 67–108) of baker's yeast iso-1-cytochrome c

Synthesis of nonapeptide hydrazide (sequence 93–101), Thr¹⁰⁷]-decapeptide (sequence 99–108), Thr¹⁰⁷]-tridecapeptide (sequence 96–108), Thr¹⁰⁷]-hexadecapeptide (sequence 93–108), Thr¹⁰⁷]-heptacosapeptide (sequence 82–108), and N^α-benzyloxycarbonyl-Thr¹⁰⁷]-dotetracontapeptide (sequence 67–108) of the proposed primary structure of baker's yeast iso-1-cytochrome c are described. Evidence is presented to indicate that these materials are sequentially homogeneous.
