Gene diversity in tunicate populations |

| Abstract: | Populations of the tunicate species Ciona intestinalis and Ascidiella aspersa were screened for electrophoretic polymorphism at various enzyme loci. Average heterozygosities are clearly related to population size as predicted by the neutral mutation hypothesis.This work was supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. |
