The salamander nose: a model system for the study of spatial coding of olfactory quality
Authors:Mackay-Sim, Alan   Kubie, John L.
Abstract:Recent experiments in the salamander on the spatial coding ofodorant quality have revealed that different odorants elicitdifferent topographic patterns of olfactory receptor cell responseswhich are independent of odorant concentration. These experimentsfrom the laboratory of David Moulton confirm and extend ideasexpressed in his recent review (Moulton, 1976).
