| Abstract: | VIP stimulates lipolysis and adenyl cyclase activity in the rat adipose tissue. VIP-induced lipolysis and adenyl cyclase activity are not affected by phenoxybenzamine. VIP-induced lipolysis is inhibited by propranolol but VIP-induced adenyl cyclase activity is not. |
