番茄花叶病毒及其弱毒N_(14)株RNAs在兔网织细胞裂解液体系中翻译产物的比较研究

摘    要:番茄花叶病毒(ToMV)属于烟草花叶病毒组,引起番茄条斑病,危害严重,其亚硝酸突变体N14在番茄、烟草等植物上完全不表现症状,作为予防ToMV的制剂,在田间和塑料大棚中使用,有显著的防病增产、促进早熟的作用。为研究其毒力的可能机理,比较了它们的RNAs在兔网织细胞裂解液中促进标记底物掺入的特性及其翻译产物的异同。

Abstract:Tomato mosaic virus caused a severe disease "tomato streak" in China, Its avirulent mutant Nl4 induced by nitrous acid was symptomiess and has been used successfully for protection of tomato from ToMV infection .To study the possible mechanism of virulence of ToMV and Nl4,we have compared the traslational properties of their RNAs in rabbit reciculocyte ly-sate system.The incorporation of 3H-leucine and 35S-methionine was stimulated by ToMV and Ni4 RNAs to a similar extent,reaching 10 to 40 times over the background.It has been revealed by using 35S-methionine as labeled substrate in the reaction mixture, that the M.W.of polypeplides traslated by ToMV-RNA are 160K, 120K, 50K and 35K.The polypeptides traslated by N14-RNA are the same as ToMV-RNA except for the absence of 50K. peptide.The possibility and function of the 50K .peptide as ToMV-RNA genomic product are discussed.
