| Abstract: | A case of bilateral carcinoid tumors of the breast was studied by cytology, histology, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. The preoperative aspiration cytologic findings strongly suggested a carcinoid tumor of the breast. The differential diagnosis with fine needle aspiration cytology of other breast lesions, the bilaterality of the condition and terminology are discussed. |
