摘 要: | Members of Bcl-2 family of proteins are regulators of cell death that can be grouped into subfamilies of prosurvival and proapoptotic molecules. They are characterized by the presence of several conserved motifs, known as the Bcl-2 homology (BH) domains, designated BH1, BH2, BH3 and BH4. Mutagenesis and structural studies revealed that the BH domains are important functional domains that are also required for dimerization function.
