Abstract: | The larvae and pupae of two xylobiont species of limoniid flies, Teucholabis esakii (Al.) and T. yezoensis Al., are described for the first time. The larvae live under bark among bast fibers of Maackia amurensis and Phellodendron amurense, rarely under bark of various species of oak, aspen, birch, and maple. A key to larvae and pupae of the two species is provided. Original Russian Text ? M.G. Krivosheina, 2009, published in Entomologicheskoe Obozrenie, 2009, Vol. 88, No. 1, pp. 185–193. |
