| Abstract: | It has been established that the survival time of black rot organism in unsterilized soil depends on soil temperature. At 20 °C the theoretical survival time was calculated 20 days and at 5 °C, it was 47 days. Similarly in stem debris, lying on soil surface and at depth of 20 cm, the survival time of pathogen was calculated 493 and 551 days respectively. |
