| Abstract: | An SIS model for an infectious disease in population movement is formulated and analyzed. The model is used to assess the impact, of observed difference in travel on the spread of the epidemic. The disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium are also discussed. The result show that infectious disease,and even more so when interconnected to other ones and forming a system,can have a multipier effect on the epidemic. |
