| Abstract: | A synthetic medium was used to obtain the dormant spores of Thermoactinomyces vulgaris. The fraction of the dormant spores depended on the amino acid composition of the growth medium. The rate of growth and development of the organism on the synthetic medium is lower as compared to the routinely employed complex medium. |
