| Abstract: | Large quantities of l-glutamic acid from liquid paraffins by microorganisms were produced with an addition of penicillin to the growing culture, and the action of penicillin to the glutamate production was studied. One of main effects of penicillin seems to exist in the cellular permeability of l-glutamic acid. |
