Abstract: | N-Carboxymethyl-β-alanine and four γ-glutamyl peptides—γ-l-glutamyl-l-leucine, γ-l-glutamyl-l-methionine, γ-glutamylphenylalanine and γ-glutamyltyrosine—were isolated from green gram seeds. N-Carboxymethyl-β-alanine is a compound which is isolated from natural products for the first time. An amount of γ-glutamylmethionine was far more abundance than all others. |
