| Abstract: | An alternative route to dl-prostaglandin-B1 using the Grignard reaction of 2-(6′-tert-butyloxycarbonylhexyl)-3-methoxy-2-cyclopenten-1-one(XII) with 3-tetrahydropyranyloxy-1-octyne was developed.An easy synthesis of dihydrojasmone was also described. |
