| Abstract: | Changes in the cardiodynamics and the contractile myocardium function under experimental shock caused by intracoronary injection of the anticardial cytotoxic serum were studied on 20 anesthetized dogs. Along with the symptoms of disturbance of the left ventricle function (a decrease of the systolic index, stroke work index of the left ventricle, rate of the intraventricular pressure rise, indices of myocardial contractility, ejection fraction) a decrease of the end-diastolic volume and pressure in the left ventricle was observed. These data show that disturbances in the cardiodynamics were cause not only by the cytotoxic heart damage, but also by derangement of the blood flow to the left heart. |
