Abstract: | The International Society for Chronobiology has as its aims, furthering the study of temporal changes in living matter, including biological rhythms in development and ageing in individuals and populations; studying and defining the mechanisms of temporal changes; fostering practical applications for chronobiological findings to mankind in basic and applied biology, physiology, work hygiene and the medical sciences; promoting education in and wide understanding of chronobiology; and furthering contact between scientists in the field and providing a forum for practitioners of chronobiology. |
