华西雨蛙—新亚种描述

在四年横断山地区考察所获的雨蛙标本中,发现华西雨蛙一新亚种,贡山亚种（Hyla annectans gongshanensis）。它与指名亚种有别的三个特征是:1）体侧及股前后,胫后均无黑斑点。前肢腋部、上臂基部及口角均无黑小斑。2）胫跗关节达鼓膜或略超过,左右跟部仅相遇或不相遇。3）前臂和后肢胫外侧有细小疣粒缀连成一线。前臂和后肢跗部腹面疣粒较多。

THE DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SUBSPECIES HYLA ANNECTANS GONGSHANENSIS FROM YUNNAN

Hyla annectans gongshanensis subsp. nov. Holotype No. 730059. adult male, the outskirts of Gongshan Xian, Yunnan; altitude 1,500m; April 10th 1973; it was collected by Su Chen Ye. Allotype No. 730084; adult female, the locality and date as same as holotype. Paratype 51 . 6 and a lot of tadpoles. They were collected from Gongshan, Deqen, Weixi, Lutien, Bijiang, Baoshan. Altitude. 1,185-3,000m; from April to July, 1973, May to July, 1978, October 1980; July 1981. Type specimens are deposited in the Kunming Institute of Zoology Academia Sinica. Diagnosis: The comparison of three characters of the new subspecies with the nominate subspecies, the measurements of the specimens and ten tadpoles are as follows: The characters of the new subspecies, which differ from that of the nominate subspecies, are as follows. H yla a. annectans 1 ) There are small black spots on the corner of mouth, large black spots on the base of the upper arm, armpit, black spots on the side of body, thigh in front and behind, tibia at the back. 2) The tibia-tarsal articulation reach posterrior corner of eye; the left and right heels overla overlap each peach other when placed at right angles to the body 3) There are no small warts on the forearm and tibial outside, no warts on forearm and on the ventral side of tarsus. H yla annectans gongshanensis 1 ) There are no black spots on the corner of mouth, armpit, base of the upper arm, side of body, thigh in front and behind, and in back of tibia. 2) The tibia-tarsal articulation reach tympanum; the left and right heels are nearly or not met. 3 ) There are white line-shaped warts on the forearm and the outside of tibia, and many warts on forearm and on the ventral side of tarsus.
