| Abstract: | Banana (Musa spp.) is one of the most important food crops in the world. The application of gene transformation for the improvement of banana would be a useful tool for the introduction of traits of interest due to low fertility, various levels of ploidy and lack of genetic variability in banana. Some achievements in gene transformation of have been obtained and the techniques in gene transformation still would be developed. |
