| Abstract: | The ranges and mean values for several blood parameters of adult specimens of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix were determined in order to establish a standard haematological profile for future investigations. Several significant correlations were established, the most important being between haematocrit, haemoglobin and erythrocyte counts. The data are discussed in relation to the general biology of this species. |
